The Burnaby Board of Trade is proud to announce the Down Syndrome Resource Foundation as the official charity partner for the 2026 BBOT Annual Golf Tournament!
Each year, BBOT’s Golf Tournament Committee reviews several incredible organizations from within the BBOT membership community. This year, the committee selected DSRF in recognition of the organization’s meaningful impact supporting individuals with Down syndrome and their families across British Columbia.
For 30 years, DSRF has provided specialized education, therapy services, resources, and community programming designed to help individuals with Down syndrome thrive at every stage of life. Through one-to-one services, youth and adult programs, and family supports, DSRF has become an essential resource for families across the province.
In a recent survey, 85% of DSRF families reported that the organization provides support they cannot access elsewhere, reflecting the deep expertise, care, and individualized approach that define DSRF’s work.
The 2026 BBOT Golf Tournament promises another unforgettable day of connection, community, and friendly competition on the greens. Bringing together business owners, professionals, and community leaders from across the region, the tournament has become one of BBOT’s most anticipated annual events.
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy engaging in on-course activities, networking opportunities, raffles, and fundraising initiatives in support of DSRF and the important work they do for families in our community.
