The Long-Term Impact of Buildings Going Green

Alex oversees the growth and operation of the Zero Energy/Emissions Buildings (ZEB) Learning Centre at BCIT. Leading a team of over 40 industry expert instructors, the ZEB Learning Centre aids the construction industry in transitioning to the BC Energy and Zero Carbon Step Codes, the City of Vancouver’s Zero Emissions Building bylaws, and CleanBC’s strategy. As an engineer with experience in managing energy and emissions for both existing buildings and new construction projects, Alex is actively involved in various committees and working groups across Canada, offering academic leadership and industry expertise in workforce development for net-zero initiatives.
