Policy and Adoption: Getting Projects Off the Ground
Alison is a Chinese settler born to first generation immigrants, living on the unceded and unsurrendered lands of the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, and Squamish First Nations. Alison is a second term Burnaby City Councillor whose priorities include decarbonizing buildings, affordable housing, active transportation, anti-racism, climate resiliency. Prior to being elected, Alison cycled from Ottawa to Burnaby against the Trans Mountain Expansion pipeline while fundraising for the legal fees of the First Nations fighting the project in court.
