Yet, Canadian businesses continue to lag behind their G7 peers in adopting these transformative tools. This gap isn’t just about missed opportunities, it’s holding back productivity growth and weakening Canada’s competitive edge.
What was once an emerging technology has now become a core driver of how organizations operate, innovate, and deliver value. To help businesses harness this shift, the Burnaby Board of Trade, in partnership with the BC Chamber of Commerce, is offering the AI Edge Program, a 3-month course built for hands-on transformation. Through the program, participants will gain the skills to implement AI tools and workflows that deliver measurable results for their business.
The program focuses on real-world applications, helping participants create custom GPTs, know which AI tools to use for a particular task, develop AI-powered workflows, and transform both individual and team performance to save 6+ hours per week while reducing stress and increasing productivity.

BC Grant Funding Available
The BC Employer Training Grant reimburses 80% of training costs for eligible BC businesses. You (the employer) apply directly, and the program provider will help with your application to ensure it meets all the criteria.

Program Fees After Eligible Grant
- Grant Funded Member Fee: $800/person with approved grant
- Full program value: $4,000 chamber members, $4,500 non-members
