BBOT Congratulates BC Conservatives and Burnaby’s Elected MLAs

The Burnaby Board of Trade (BBOT) congratulates the BC Conservative Party and Premier-designate Lorne Doerkson on their victory in the October 24 provincial election. We also congratulate the five MLAs elected to represent Burnaby and look forward to working with them on issues affecting the city’s business community.

Burnaby’s elected MLAs are:

Burnaby Centre: Joshua Domnich (BC Conservative)

Burnaby North: Simon Chandler (BC Conservative)

Burnaby South-Metrotown: Paul Choi (BC NDP)

Burnaby East: Rohini Arora (BC NDP)

Burnaby-New Westminster: Raj Chouhan (BC NDP)

BBOT has worked with elected representatives on issues affecting Burnaby’s business community and looks forward to continuing those relationships while connecting with newly elected MLAs. Priorities include creating a competitive business environment, supporting economic development and ensuring provincial decisions reflect the needs of businesses operating in Burnaby.

BBOT also thanks Anne Kang and Janet Routledge for their service to Burnaby and their contributions during their time in the B.C. Legislature.
