Workforce Connect: Business and Talent Development
Workforce Connect is a Burnaby Board of Trade initiative developed in collaboration with business, government, community, and labour partners. It provides programs and resources that strengthen Burnaby’s business community and prepare our workforce for the future.
In 2026, Workforce Connect will focus on two key areas: Workforce Development and Workforce Readiness. Through targeted programming, resources, and events, we’re helping businesses adapt, grow, and connect with the talent they need to succeed.

Practical sessions to inform and upskill the Burnaby business community, with a focus on human resources, digital technology, and business best practices.
Post-Secondary & Business Connections
Dedicated programming to connect businesses with emerging talent from local post-secondary institutions, including support for co-ops, work-integrated learning, and deeper collaboration with post-secondary departments.
