Shiva Prakash is the Associate Director of Development at Corix, where he leads business and project development for community-scale district energy systems across North America. With over a decade of experience in business development, project management, and stakeholder engagement, he specializes in advancing complex energy projects from concept to execution. In this role, he works with municipalities, developers, and utilities to deliver low-carbon, district-scale solutions that support community growth, climate action, and long-term resilience. Shiva brings a unique ability to bridge technical, financial, business, and regulatory perspectives — translating complex energy challenges into practical, scalable solutions. He is passionate about advancing innovative technologies and is a strong advocate for decarbonization at scale. He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and has recently completed an MBA at the UBC Sauder School of Business.
