Elena Morettini is a leading thinker, innovator, and geoscience expert driving sustainable technology, energy transitions, and climate scenario modelling. As Global Head of Sustainable Business at Globant, she oversees an executive client portfolio focused on ESG, climate finance, and sustainable tech, while leading thought leadership initiatives for COP and international sustainability partnerships. She is also the Co-Founder of Because Energy Matters, a platform dedicated to advancing fairness and sustainability in large organizations.
With over two decades of international experience spanning oil and gas, climate tech, and decarbonization strategies, Elena has directed multidisciplinary geoscience and energy transition projects across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and North America. She has pioneered Diversity & Inclusion initiatives in the energy sector, including co-founding the first D&I Committee for Oil and Gas industries in LATAM, and has been recognized among the Top 10 Most Read Thought Leaders (2023) and Top 10 Sustainability Speakers in Net Zero (2023).
