Birthday Behind Bars? Help Free Angie for a Good Cause!
Breaking news from the Burnaby Board of Trade: our CEO, Angie Whitfield, has a warrant out for her arrest!
Don’t worry, she’s not in trouble with the law. In fact, she’s taking part in Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers’ Jail & Bail fundraiser, and she needs your help to raise $2,000 in bail money so she doesn’t spend her birthday behind bars.
On Friday, September 5th at Central City Plaza in Surrey, Angie will join other well-meaning community leaders as they attempt to “bail themselves out” of Crime Stoppers County Jail — all to support a safer Metro Vancouver and Upper Fraser Valley. This fun and impactful event allows donors to click on participants’ photos, view their “Arrest Warrant” and “Wanted Poster,” and hit the Bail Button to contribute.
Every donation helps, and as a special thank-you, anyone who donates to Angie’s bail will be entered to win a gift card from a BBOT member. It’s the perfect way to support a great cause, have fun, and maybe even help our CEO celebrate her birthday out of jail!
Don’t wait — help get Angie free and make a difference in our community today!
