Working closely with the Canada-Karelia Society, the Burnaby Board of Trade has
negotiated an exclusive arrangement that will provide Members with unrivaled
access to Russian procurement personnel who are planning the 2014 Winter
Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The sensational Vancouver Games has showcased the
caliber of Lower Mainland businesses and a reception is being held on February
22nd to identify Burnaby organizations that may be able to collaborate with
Russian businesses and assist with their Olympic effort.
Burnaby
businesses will be able to connect with Russian decision-makers and develop
international trade links, as well as network with some of the country's leading
business people. Targeting all industry sectors, the event will provide BBOT
Members with access to significant business opportunities.
In addition
to connecting with high level Russian business representatives and Olympic
organizing officials, attendees will be able to mingle with some of Russia's
greatest hockey stars from the 1970s and 1980s, who led the country through the
golden age of Soviet hockey. Russian music and food will be provided.

that attend this free reception. The event will take place at 5PM, February 22nd
at The Law Courts Inn, 800 Smithe Street, Vancouver.

The entrance to the underground parking lot is located at the corner of Howe Street and Nelson and can be accessed as follows:
Go south on Howe and stay in the right lane - just before Nelson is the underground parking on the right hand side - go down the ramp and park on Level P2 - Yellow section - go through the large yellow parkade door - Take elevators directly on the left to 2nd floor (Lobby) - exit the building through the glass door on the right and cross the street - enter Supreme Court Building at the 800 Smithe Street entrance - Take elevator to the 4th floor
